Plan a Baby Shower
Hosting The Shower
You can take on the party yourself, invite a couple of friends to help or make it a husband/wife team for a co-ed baby shower.
If you want to host the shower alone, I would suggest having at least someone who will stand as an assistant during the shower, especially if you have a large guest list. You don't want to miss the baby shower because you are so busy attending to details. You can have someone organize the food, run a baby shower games or two or keep track of the gifts being given for the mom-to-be.
Inviting a couple of friends will help take the stress off and brings in friends who may have talents that will benefit the baby shower. It is also easier on everyone's budget to share expenses. Plus, good friends often love to be a part of a happy occasion like this. Perhaps one friend will organize the menu, while another will take care of decorations and you can concentrate on guests, invitations, location, etc.
Having a husband/wife team for a co-ed party helps keep both your male and female guests happy. You can put your heads together to make sure the menu, games and activities will satisfy both genders.
