Making the Guest List

Is this a co-ed party? Are children allowed? Is there a relative or friend you don’t know about?

You should coordinate with the guest of honor to make sure you don't leave anyone out. There may be an out of town relative or friend who would want to be there that you don't know about. Or there might be someone you would invite that the parents don't want to attend.

You may also hesitate to invite a friend who just had a miscarriage. The best way to handle this is to gently ask how she feels about it and if she would like to attend.
